Our Serve Teams are essential to the success of our church, and they are filled with people using their unique gifts to make ministry happen. Serve Teams allow us to become more like Christ as we serve like Jesus did.

Our hospitality team is in need of additional volunteers to serve. This is an as-needed basis, and you will be working with an experienced team of friendly volunteers. Complete our form to sign up or request additional information.

– PROMOTIONS HELPER
Are you a people person? Do you love social media or talking with people? If so, then Delaney needs you!! We need our events and posts shared on social media and event posters delivered. We could use help hanging up our event posters/flyers in the community and handing out invitations in person as well. Would you like to volunteer in the Delaney church office? We need a volunteer music secretary to serve about 2 hours per week. We also need a couple hours of data entry to be done. We strive to develop spiritually strong children and youth to know, love, follow and serve Jesus Christ. Delaney provides a loving, Christian environment where children can learn about God’s love for them through a variety of ministries, regular gatherings and special events.
Student/Youth Ministry (Led by Alan Dominy)

Creative Arts Ministry (Led by Pastor Jeff)
Find creative ways to engage and impact the congregation in worship services. Develop special services utilizing media and the arts for transformation and discipleship. Utilize vocal and instrumental music, dance, and visual arts to enhance the worship experience.

Evangelism Ministry (Open Position)
• Train members to actively share their faith and lead people to a saving knowledge of Christ. Develop intentional strategies for sharing the gospel.
• Work with staff to coordinate consistent outreach activities.
History/Legacy (Open Position)
This team promotes church family unity, organizing annual church member photos and Photo Directories. Assist with yearly information to honor those who have gone to be with the Lord.

• Help with video testimonies, and honor those who have gone to be with the Lord.

Hospitality Ministry (Led by Linda McDonald)
• Prepare and serve beverages during special events.
• Coordinate volunteers, prepare and serve beverages at special events.
Homebound Ministry (Led by Mary Livingston)
People who will visit assisted-living facilities and home bound members, spreading the care and compassion of Christ. Sending them cards and other materials. Also, keep the church office up to date on any prayer requests.
Library Ministry (Led by Mary Livingston)
The church library provides information through media for worship, ministry, discipleship, evangelism and fellowship. The purpose is for personal growth, spiritual transformation, relaxation and kingdom advance.

Media Ministry (Led by John Huber)
To enhance the worship experience, communicating with the congregation, online and in person through the use of technology and media. Provides technical support and recording for worship services, and various events for future viewing.
Men’s Ministry (Led by Justin Bauknight)
Leaders will be responsible to organize ministry; Scheduling, Devotional or ask others to bring devotional each meeting. Plan is to meet once per month, take up offering at each meeting, vote on direction of funds etc.
Prayer Ministry (Led by Gene Lindsay)
We take prayer requests and pray for many things. We read some scripture and have a short bible study.
• Facilitate Prayer Meetings.
• Organize & promote church-wide prayer events (i.e. National Day of Prayer, Cottage Prayer, etc.) providing an intentional strategy for involving the church family.
Security Ministry (Led by John Reynolds)
Made up of dedicated men and women that have a heart and passion for the safety and security of our church family while worshiping.
•Preventing disruptive, destructive and violent behaviors on our church campus.
• Ensure a campus-wide safe environment for the church, church activities, and members.
Senior Adult Ministry (Coordinator – Pastor Jeff)
• Engage 65 years and older members and non-members in activities and fellowship.
• Gatherings that encourage friendship, learning God’s Word and support outreach to others.
Shoebox Ministry (Led by Carol Smith)
To involve the whole church in the Operation Christmas Child mission project.To fill shoe boxes with age/gender appropriate items, according to specific lists and instructions.

Special Education Ministry (Led by Rob Chapman)
Teach and Disciple special need adults in an environment that is safe and provides an opportunity
for interaction. We have time for singing, prayer, bible study and refreshments. We worship and provide practical application of God’s Word in our daily lives. We also provide a weekend retreat at Lake Yale for students from our church and several other ministries in Central Florida that participate.
Sports and Recreation Ministry (Led by Alan Dominy)
We are looking for people that want to help lead sports & recreational events that intersect with their personal passions. For example, if you like to play golf, then why not host a golf outing at Top Golf? Maybe you enjoy playing Bridge, Pinochle or Bunko, then you could host a card game. The possibilities are endless!
• Organize events for church members to connect with people in the community through sports.
• Coordinate various other recreational times and events to build church unity.
Welcome Team / First Impressions Ministry (Led by Michelle McClintock)
Greeting Team – Greet and welcome guests and people attending worship services or hand out bulletins. Encourage guest to come back to services, activities and upcoming events. Ushers – Help guests find seats, and collect the offering. Parking Team – Help welcome guests as they arrive and direct them to a parking spot.
• Welcome those attending services , greeting members as well well as newcomers to Sunday School classes or the Worship Center for morning worship.
• Intentionally seek out visitors & make initial contact.
• Provide guests a warm, welcoming greeting & smile.
• Provide information on church ministries and introduce visitors to members and staff.
• Answer questions & encourage future involvement. We need greeters of all ages to help!
Women’s Ministry (SISTERS) (Led by Open Position)
Purpose of the ministry is built into the name (Sisters in Service Together, Encouraging, Reaching out for our Savior). Focusing on fellowship and encouragement of all ladies through activities, service projects, and prayer utilizing GroupMe app. Centering on inviting friends and family members to functions to promote church growth, discipleship and loving our church and community.
• Plan gatherings for ladies of all ages.
• Sisters in Service Together, Encouraging, Reaching out for our Savior
• Come together for friendship and fellowship, & be encouraged in their walk with the Lord.
Young Adults Ministry (Led by Nathan Dominy)
To grow in Christ through gatherings, discipleship, small groups, retreats, and other forms of ministry.
Young Couples Ministry (Led by Matt Morris)
To grow in Christ through fellowship/community, providing spiritual growth, relational growth, and outreach.

• Single Parents – Reach out and meet the needs of these members.

• Care Team – Offer support for those struggling with divorce, grief, addictions, healthy relationships, anger management, etc.
• Military Support – Write letters to troops overseas and make up/send care packages.
• Random Acts – Activities showing kindness to organizations and people in need, in the community.
First Impression Opportunities:

Connect Team – Help people sign up for events and or groups, and provide basic information about the church that can help others get connected.

Follow-Up Team – Work on your own time and at your own pace, contacting guest and members to invite them back to a weekend service, checking in on them, etc.
Set Up/Prep Opportunities:
Facility Set up Team – Assist with Weekend, Wednesday night or special event facility set-up.
Sanctuary Prep Team – Refill pew pockets with envelopes and pens, and helping to ensure the room is ready for weekend service.
Communion Prep Team – Preparing for Communion before and after service.
Outreach Volunteer Opportunities:
Acts of Random Kindness – Participate in monthly activities showing kindness, love, appreciation and generosity to individuals and organizations in the community.
Dinner and Fellowship Outreach – Help with shopping, food prep, setting up/tearing down tables, preparing & serving dinner, greeting & praying with guests during our Wednesday Night Dinners.
Outreach Ministry – Volunteers of all ages and skill level are needed to man the tables with community events and projects throughout the year, letting people know about the opportunities at Delaney.
Elderly / Home Bound Visitation – Visit assisted-living facilities and home bound members, spreading the care and compassion of Christ. Sending them cards and other material.

School Supply Drive Program – Gather, sort, package, and distribute/deliver school supply donations.

Kid or Student Opportunities:
Child or Youth Group Leader – Hang out at a child or student gathering and be a part of leading discussion, organizing activities and encouraging attendees each week.
Nursery Volunteers – Create a loving and safe environment for babies and preschoolers.
Extraordinary Buddy – The goal is to have those with special needs engage and participate in our community. No experience needed, just a passion and heart to work with extraordinary people!
AWANA Services Team – Greet and welcome parents and children. Assist in checking in families, providing a secure environment, and helping where needed.
Children’s Prep Team – Assist with preparing children’s ministry supplies and organizing materials.
Spiritual Growth Opportunities:
Group Leader or Host – Lead a group while fostering community and fellowship, or host a group in your home. Groups for marriage, finances, parenting, discipleship, singles, etc.
Care Ministry – Visit those that are hospitalized and/or confined to their homes. Prepare a meal, make a phone call, encourage those in a time of need.
Prayer Partners – As people respond to the message after each service, pray for them as their needs indicate.
Freedom Leader – Offer accountability and enthusiasm for anyone struggling with grief, divorce, addictions, healthy relationships or anger management.
Evangelism Ministry Team / Faith in Action Group – Train members to actively share their faith. Guide people to come to a saving knowledge of Christ. Visit and pray with men, and women, through a biblically-based visitation program. (training required)
Classics / Senior Adult Ministry – Engage 50 years and older members and non-members in activities and fellowship. Grow friendships with brothers and sisters in Christ, of the same age and similar interests.Plan gatherings that encourage learning God’s Word and support outreach to others.
Men’s Ministry Team – Plan gatherings and Bible Studies for men to serve, encourage, build up and create friendships with.
Creative Opportunities:
Production Team – Assist in running audio, lights, video, and live cameras for services and events. Training provided.
Photography Team – Take pictures at services and events to keep Delaney’s Photo Library fresh, up to date, and engaging.
Service Team – Plan special events both at Delaney and in the Community.
Security/Emergency Response Team – Provide security and emergency services for weekend services. Formal training or law enforcement/EMT experience preferred, but not required.
Legacy / History Ministry Team – Organize annual Group Photo of the church body and five year Photo directory. Help with video testimonies, and honor those who have gone to be with the Lord. Promote church family unity. Keep History Room updated and organized.
