VISION of the Delaney Senior Adult Ministry:
The Delaney Seniors are an active group of adults 55 years and up whose goal is to glorify God by making fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ. We gather weekly in various Sunday School classes, and also monthly for times of community and service to others, and to support the outreach of Delaney Baptist Church. We believe that the mature years are a time of increased fruitfulness in life and ministry:
- Mighty in Prayer – A follower of Christ is most powerful when he is spending time with God in impassioned prayer for others.
- Growing in Grace – We eagerly study the Bible, allowing the Holy Spirit to change our lives.
- Sharing the Faith – We actively tell others about Jesus, not only bringing our own generation to Christ, but having an impact in the lives of younger believers as well.

Senior Adults 55 and up, gather in the Fellowship Hall for our Third Thursday Lunch. Come enjoy good friends and good food. Bring yourself, a friend, and a delicious dish to share.

Delaney Seniors will gather in the Fellowship Hall for our Third Thursday Lunch. Local church planter Victor Moura will share what God is doing among Brazilian newcomers to our community. Bring yourself, a friend, and a delicious dish (with food in it) to share.

FORT CHRISTMAS BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL, SATURDAY, APRIL 5, 9:00AM
Put on your best blue jeans and load up the church van for some bluegrass at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 5. We will travel to Fort Christmas to hear some beautiful music guaranteed to get your toes a-tappin’. Bring along a friend, a chair, and a sack lunch, or you can buy food from the local vendors. We will return to the church around 1:30 p.m.
THIRD THURSDAY LUNCH, APRIL 17, 12:30PM
On Thursday, April 17th, at 12:30 p.m, Delaney Seniors will gather in the Fellowship Hall for our Third Thursday Lunch. Come find out why this day is called “Maundy Thursday” in the holy week calendar. We will also hear from our SE Asia team about their trip. Bring yourself, a friend, and a delicious dish (with food in it) to share.
