Michael received a BS in Business Administration in 1998 from Averett University in Danville, VA. He received his Master of Divinity degree in 2002 from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. He and his wife Sylvia have four sons: Jeremiah (31), Anthony (30), Zachariah (20), and Isaiah (18).
