WEDNESDAY ELECTIVE (Discipleship Class) Wednesday, at 6:30pm
A Journey to Christian Maturity – Discipleship Course – What happens after we become a Christian? Where do we go from here? Better yet, how do we get there and how long will it take? The Road to Christian Maturity is a process. Knowing what to look for and how to get there can be of immense help on your Spiritual Journey. Waypoints are the Disciple’s reference points on your Spiritual Roadmap. Come and find out where you are Along the Way! Teacher- Randy Driggers. This is held in Room D101.
MISSION TRIP INFO MEETING – Sunday, September 15 at 12:15pm
Spring 2025 SE Asia Trip Info. Meeting, in the Fellowship Hall after the worship service. This brief information meeting is about how you can participate in a missions support trip to SE Asia in the Spring of 2025.
WIDOW & WIDOWER LUNCH BANQUET – Sunday, September 22 at 12:30pm
The Deacons at Delaney Street Baptist Church will host a lunch banquet honoring our widows and widowers. It will take place after the morning worship service in the gym. You may also bring one person with you as a guest if you would like. We will enjoy a homemade lunch prepared by our own deacon chef Larry Hollister. If you need assistance with transportation, please contact the church office at 407-422-0758 by September 1, to rsvp.
STUDENT MINISTRY OPEN HOUSE – Wednesday, September 25 at 6pm
PARENTS AND STUDENTS: Join us for a family dinner (6pm) and an Open House (6:30-7:30pm) in the Upper Room. Parents will have the opportunity to meet with Students’ SS teachers, volunteers and Bible Study leaders.
DELANEY at CONWAY COMMUNITY MARKET – Sunday, September 29 at 10am
FUN SERVE OPPORTUNITY – TAKE THE CHURCH INTO THE COMMUNITY at Conway’s monthly Community Market. Delaney Booth serve times: 9:30am (setup), 10am-12pm or 12-2pm (man booth), or 2pm (breakdown). Call the church office to sign up to serve. The Conway Community Market is located at Barber Park, Orlando.
SUNDAY SOCIAL – Sunday, September 29 at 5:30pm
We invite you to our next SUNDAY SOCIAL potluck gathering! It will held in the Fellowship Hall and be full of Fun and Games! Bring a finger food, sandwiches, or snacks to share. Bring your favorite board game too. Drinks will be provided. Thank you to our Adult 5 Sunday School Class for hosting this social!! If your Sunday School class would like to host one of our quarterly Sunday Socials, please contact the church office.
COMMUNITY PICNIC – Sunday, October 13 at 12:15pm
Plan to join us for a fun day at Wadeview Park for our Community PICNIC! We’ll meet at Pavillion #112, near corner of Harding & Osceola. Enjoy food, games, & fellowship! Bring chairs and a dish or drinks to share.
NEW MEMBERS CLASS – Sunday, October 20 and 27 at 9:30am
Discover Delaney – We invite you to attend this course on everything you ever wanted to know about Delaney! You will learn about Delaney’s five areas of focus, and what it means to become a member. After completion of the class, you’ll have the opportunity to join the church! Anyone who is interested in being a part of the Delaney family, or who just wants to learn more about our church should take this class! Visit Delaneychurch.com/signup to REGISTER. Refreshments will be provided. This class will meet during Sunday School time (9:30am-10:30am) in the Church Office Conference Room.
FALL FESTIVAL – Saturday, October 26 at 6pm
If you are looking for a safe, free, family fun alternative to trick-or-treating, make sure to check out Delaney Church’s FALL FESTIVAL. Join the fun from 6-8 pm in the Gym and back Parking lots. There is plenty of parking!!! This event is FREE and is open to everyone! All ages will enjoy this community-wide, fun event! Kid-friendly costumes are encouraged.
